Oddly enough, NPR does not inform readers that: This NPR story It was announced less than 15 months ago that New York City would allow 800,000 non-citizens to vote in local elections. This law was (thankfully) blocked in June. Nevertheless, “11 towns in Maryland and two towns in Vermont… To give permission Illegal aliens’ right to vote in local races[.]”
Granted, today’s NPR article focuses on federal elections, specifically presidential elections, but it still manages to be cute.

It may be illegal for illegal aliens to vote in federal elections, but as long as they don’t require voter identification and erase the names of those who are dead or have moved out of state…that’s how I feel. You see? Here?
