The White House pushed back on Special Counsel Robert Hur’s testimony that it did not exonerate President Joe Biden.

After Tuesday’s hearing, White House Congressional Affairs Press Secretary Ian Sams said there was no evidence to support the accusations declaring the case closed.
Mr. Hsu stood by a report that questioned Mr. Biden’s age and mental competency. Those comments drew harsh criticism from the White House and Democrats.
He also said he did not sanitize his account or unfairly discount Biden.
But the White House sided with several Democrats at the hearing, insisting the report revealed wrongdoing by Biden.
“It’s either you charge it or you don’t charge it,” Sams said. “And that was the decision, and that decision came after 15 months of considering every possible theory and turning over every rock to try to find possible evidence, and that evidence did not support an indictment. The presumption of innocence is taken to another level if the president is innocent. There is no case here. The president is innocent. That was the conclusion of this case.”
Mr. Xu claimed that Mr. Biden intentionally kept classified documents.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) noted in his testimony that Biden helped write the book and could earn $8 million for doing so.
