Ann Amore
9pm, Sky Atlantic
This nostalgic Italian romantic drama tells the story of Alessandro (Stefano Accorsi) and Anna (Michaela Ramazzotti), who meet while traveling across Europe in the summer of 1996. Twenty years later, the two find themselves in Bologna. And the spark is still there. But marriage, children, and everything in between aren’t that easy. It’s mesmerizing, escapist, and full of longing, with lots of flashbacks. Holly Richardson
dragon’s den
8pm, BBC One
As the 21st series of this surprisingly tough business show continues, the curious Dragons are making more and more anxious pitches. Tonight, new investment opportunities include thermostats for rental properties, granola snack foods, and, somewhat questionably, a variety of natural makeup products for children. phil harrison
Darren McGarvey: The state we’re in.
9pm, BBC Two
The controversy over Mr McGarvey’s national situation ended with him spending time in the NHS. Granted, it’s no surprise that he finds a “shit show”, but he explores all sorts of areas (including an awkward appointment with a personal doctor) and works with people who clearly care about his job. They do a great job of really listening to their opinions. Human Resources Department
What I should have done
9pm, BBC Three
Lucia Keskin’s light-hearted, quirky family comedy ends with this double redemption claim for the “housewife’s daughter” Qi (Keskin). First, she has to get along with Aunt Karen (a very sour Serin Hizuri), who has been “diagnosed as being too tight.” And finally, she plans to leave her parents’ home and build her own life in Spain. Or maybe she tries to anyway. Ellen E. Jones
rob beckett smart tv
9pm, Skymax
This cheeky new panel show is more about excitement and trash talk than a rigorous test of TV knowledge, but it quickly found its rowdy groove. Tonight, team captains Alison Hammond and Josh Widdicombe will be joined by Natasia Demetriou, Roman Kemp, David Morrissey and Ghost star and Buffy superfan Keir Smith-Bynow. graham virtue
