This week, we’re excited to spotlight the following Brian Bremberg, He currently co-hosts “The Big Money Show” (weekdays at 1pm ET) with Jackie DeAngelis and Taylor Riggs.
He joined FOX Business in 2020 as a contributor, providing financial commentary and analysis across the network’s platforms. During his tenure, he has appeared on numerous programs including FBN’s “Mornings with Maria” and “FOX Business Tonight” and FOX News Channel’s “Outnumbered.”

Brian Bremberg of Fox Business Network’s “The Big Money Show” shares his best investing advice for people just starting out and what he would tell his younger self if he could. (Fox News Digital)
Q: Before becoming a co-sponsor “Big Money Show” Tell us about your career at Fox Business.
BB: My first job was at a video store, where I learned that “be kind, rewind” is a phrase to live by.
In college, I stocked up on car tires and engine oil at Walmart and drove a forklift at a lumber yard. In the end, I found path to financeAnd somehow that ended up being a university professor for 14 years.
To be clear, I am not a professor of forklift driving. I was very bad at it.
Q: How did you make your first dollar?
BB: Selling baseball cards at a roadside card table with Pete Hegseth. ask him.
Q: What was your favorite board or card game when you were a kid? Did you like Monopoly or were you always drawn to finance?
BB: I hated Monopoly.
My father was making us play to bankrupt us one by one. Now that I have kids, I love Monopoly.

Q: What questions do you think every manager should ask in a job interview?
BB: “If I were talking to you former colleague, what would they say is your biggest weakness? ”
Self-awareness is a professional superpower. And that absence is kryptonite.
Q: If Elon Musk informed you tomorrow that there were seats available on the next SpaceX flight, would you go?
BB: I don’t like it. But we would love to know who contacted us. Because I’m sure I don’t have any friends with that kind of connection.
Q: What advice would you give to people who are new to investing and want to start building assets?
BB: Learn how to budget and plan your savings.

Then I take some of it and put it on a CD. Then put some of that into a retirement savings vehicle.

Q: If you were a contestant on a cooking show, what dish would you make to impress the judges?
BB: Make “bad day soup”. This is a standard product of the Bremberg family.

It’s not impressive, but it’s very red. And, strictly speaking, food.
Q: What is your favorite app on your phone? Bonus points if you haven’t already downloaded it to your phone!
BB: Griffon. This is an app that controls your home’s Wi-Fi. You can turn off the internet so everyone steps away from the screen. I handle it freely and happily.
Q: When should I start teaching my children about financial responsibility?
BB: first time you stop at McDonald’s And I complain when my friend’s parents buy me sushi. Finance is the path from McDonald’s to sushi.
Q: What was the last book you read?
BB: “Truman” by David McCullough. There are about 1,000 pages, but you won’t regret reading any of them.

Q: How do you balance investing and saving for the future with enjoying the present?
BB: I’ll start by asking my wife for her opinion. If she thinks it’s worth buying now, it usually is. Because her heart is in tune with what makes our family thrive.

Q: What is the best advice you would give your younger self?
BB: The more you trust in God’s grace rather than your own efforts, the more you will be free to pursue more than you ever imagined.
