Democratic Texas Rep. Vincente Gonzalez doubled down on his remarks Thursday, comparing “Trump-supporting Latinos” to “Hitler-supporting Jews.”
Gonzalez on Monday likened 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s Latino supporters to Adolf Hitler’s Jewish supporters, saying: new republic.

“for [Republicans] “To maintain power, even at the state level, we need to convince at least some, even a small number of Latinos, to start voting Republican,” Gonzalez told the outlet. “Otherwise, we will ultimately lose the election.”
