Illegal Wanted for Murder Found Living in Rhode Island

One of the nearly 2 million “fugitives” who have crossed the U.S.-Mexico border since President Joe Biden took office in 2021 was found living in Rhode Island but facing murder charges in his native Honduras. This includes illegal immigrants wanted in the United States.

The Honduran national crossed the southern border for the first time in January 2021, but was immediately removed thanks to Title 42, a public health order that acts as a border control but has since been repealed by Biden.

But a judge in Cranston, Rhode Island, ignored ICE detainees and released them into society. ICE agents arrested him in Warwick, Rhode Island, on February 27, and he remains in federal custody pending deportation.

“It is extremely concerning that this fugitive faces serious charges and that despite the presence of active immigration detainees who applied for his detention, he was released back into society by the court.” said ICE officer Todd Lyons. Said In a statement.

The Honduran national is among nearly 2 million known illegal alien fugitives who have eluded border security since President Biden took office, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He reportedly succeeded in entering the United States.

Recently, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) sent Letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding the surge in illegal alien fugitives entering the United States
