Democrats, like Mulvaney, embrace the misogyny of pretending to be pro-women. Democrats can’t say what a woman is. They believe that activists take precedence over parents when it comes to gender. They see women’s sports as the next frontier for ordinary men and look down on women who make different choices than their own. So the Democratic Party may have become a women’s party, but it’s a type of woman. That’s saying it’s her choice, only if it’s her choice too.
