An Alaska woman had her Planet Fitness membership revoked earlier this week after she took a photo of a “man with a penis” in one of the gym’s women’s locker rooms.
The incident occurred at a store in Fairbanks. One woman said a person who identified as “queer LBG” was shaving her in the women’s locker room, and she recorded herself talking about her ordeal.
Planet Fitness confirmed to Fox News Digital that the woman violated its rules regarding taking photos and videos in locker rooms, resulting in her membership being revoked.

“As the home of the Judgment Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment,” Planet Fitness CEO McCall Gosselin said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Our gender identity non-discrimination policy provides that members and guests have access to gym facilities that best match their truthfully self-declared gender identity. Violated our mobile device policy that prohibits users from entering the locker room, resulting in the termination of your membership. ”
Planet Fitness did not respond to questions about whether the transgender person’s “honestly declared” gender is female.
Patricia Silva said she went to the gym on Monday and saw “a man with a penis” shaving in the women’s locker room.
“I just came out of Planet Fitness and there’s a guy shaving in the women’s room,” she said in the article. first of several videos She posted about the incident. “I know he wants to be and can be a woman. I love him in Christ. He is a spiritual being with a human experience. I don’t like my gender, I want to be a woman, but I love him.” It’s uncomfortable for him to shave in my bathroom. ”

on video Posted on WednesdaySilva said there was a girl who “may have been about 12 years old…I was a little surprised to see a man shaving in the locker room with a towel wrapped around him.”
Silva said identified individual As a “queer LGB,” he therefore believed that “he had a right to be there.” Planet Fitness identified the person as transgender in an email exchange with Fox News Digital.
Silva said he took the photo of the person because “I felt I was in a dangerous space.”
Planet Fitness’ policy states: “If a serious concern or serious doubt regarding the authenticity of a transgender or non-binary status/identity arises and a Team Member is able to articulate it, the Team Member shall discuss the concern with the Member. If serious concerns or doubts cannot be resolved, the club may request external evidence of the member’s claimed gender identity. If they do so, they may be asked to leave and their membership may be terminated.”
Fox News Digital asked Planet Fitness if the transgender individual violated any policies, but the gym did not respond. However, Silva said in a Facebook comment thread that Planet Fitness “allowed the man in the locker room to remain a member.”

Silva said he received a call from the gym Wednesday morning informing him that his membership had been canceled.
“Planet Fitness stands for the man in the women’s locker room, the man with a penis, not the kid in the corner with a towel wrapped around him,” Silva said.
