Shocking police body camera video shows officers chasing a suspected gun-wielding teenage drug dealer on a crowded Florida beach during spring break.

Police body camera footage shows the violent scene unfolding in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

The beach was crowded with spring break tourists when a brawl suddenly broke out around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

Officers went directly to the scene of the scuffle, and body camera footage captured the moment the suspect pulled out a gun on the crowded beach.

The officer fired back brandishing his gun and ordered the gunman to “Hey, you son of a bitch, drop the gun!”

The suspect ignored the police’s demands and ran away from the police. The suspect fled into the ocean as multiple police officers pursued him. Half the police remained on the shore, pointing their guns at the suspect as he stood in knee-deep water.

The standoff lasted several minutes until the suspect surrendered to police.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said: statement“Deputies recovered both the gun and the bag from the water. The bag contained 20 small plastic bags containing marijuana.”

The suspect was identified as 16-year-old Felixander Solis Guzman.

Police said Solis-Guzman was charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm by a person under 18, unlawful display of a firearm, second-degree felony assault with a weapon, and resisting law enforcement. Ta. Officer charged with two counts of tampering with evidence and sale of marijuana.

Solis Guzman, of Lakeland, was also arrested on seven unsecured warrants out of Orange County, including robbery with a firearm and violation of probation.

The state attorney’s office announced Friday that Solis-Guzman will be charged as an adult.

State Attorney RJ LaRiza wrote: X “This 16-year-old brought drugs and guns into Volusia County during spring break. He will now face adult charges and face serious consequences for his reckless actions,” the social media platform said. We will welcome spring breakers, but only as long as they behave well.”
