Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pennsylvania) said on Saturday that the U.S. has seen similar incidents in the Pennsylvania shootings on Saturday and the standoff in New Jersey, where a lone gunman killed three people and was taken into custody hours later. He warned that violent crimes may continue.

Social Media Mental health is skyrocketing due to increased availability and increased drug use. These are interconnected issues.”

He added: “Unfortunately, unless we start treating mental health issues the same way we treat physical health in America, we’re going to continue to have crises like this. We have to solve it.” .
