Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker made a strong pro-life statement in an interview with ETWN News, claiming that abortion creates “our society’s greatest sacrifice” in unborn babies.
Butker recalled that last year, when the team went to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory, he made a pro-life statement at the White House during a trip to Washington, D.C. The player wore a tie with the slogan “Vulnerari Praesidio”, which means “protecting the most vulnerable” in Latin. The tie also had a pin in the shape of a toddler’s foot.
The Super Bowl winner said he felt the need to be there for his unborn child in that public space.
“For me, the unborn child is our society’s greatest victim,” Butker told ETWN. fox news report. “They don’t have a voice. They don’t necessarily look like humans. They’re not very big. They can’t fight for themselves. There aren’t that many people fighting for them.”

“And I think the slaughter of unborn children that is happening in this country is a terrible atrocity. To send this message to the public and to represent unborn children, unfortunately their voices are not being heard in the White House. We felt there was no better place than this.”
Still, Butker defended his actions during last year’s Super Bowl visit to the White House, saying he would make such remarks if his team visited the White House this year to celebrate their Super Bowl 58 victory. He said he had no intention of doing so.

With this year’s win, the Chiefs became the first NFL team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the New England Patriots accomplished the feat in 2005.
Mr. Butker recently made headlines when he publicly denounced the funeral of an atheist transgender activist at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City as a farce aimed at “making fun of the Lord.”
