Biden’s former colleague Tony Bobulinski publicly confronted Democratic Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) and Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday. He accused them of lying about the Biden family’s businesses.
Bobulinski accused Raskin and Goldman of lying about Joe Biden’s role in the Biden family’s businesses while testifying in opening statements before the House impeachment inquiry hearings on Wednesday. Mr. Raskin and Mr. Goldman have aggressively defended Mr. Hunter, Mr. James and President Joe Biden’s involvement in the family business.

The House investigation has so far uncovered a massive wire transfer scheme, 20 shell companies and associates in which the Biden family’s business collected at least $24 million from foreigners over a period of about five years. They revealed that Joe Biden received money from James Biden and Hunter Biden. They also revealed that nine additional members of the Biden family, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren, received compensation from the family’s overseas business operations.
Bobulinski previously claimed that Joe Biden is a “great man.” He also released a text message revealing that Joe Biden plans to take a 10% stake in a joint venture with CEFC China Energy, which has close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

“They continue to lie directly to the American people without hesitation or remorse,” Bobulinski told a committee attended by two Democratic senators. “Congressman Dan Goldman and Jamie Raskin (both attorneys) and Mr. Goldman, a former SDNY prosecutor from New York, continue to lie today in this hearing and then go straight to the media. He will tell more lies.”
Mr. Raskin interrupted Mr. Bobulinsky and questioned whether Mr. Bobulinsky could speak so forcefully to Mr. Raskin and Mr. Goldman. “He called members of this committee liars. I just want to know whether the order and decorum requirements of Rule 11 of the House Rules apply to witnesses appearing before the committee,” Raskin asked. .
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) ignored Raskin’s questions and directed Bobulinski to continue.
Bobulinski went on to accuse Hunter and James Biden of perjury during interviews in the House impeachment inquiry.
