But when asked to reflect on the season as a whole and the change in team culture in particular, Harris spoke at length about his teammates, a moment that quickly went viral on social media.

“Again, it comes down to basketball, but it also comes down to having a connection with us, not just as teammates, but as human beings,” he said. “Playing on a basketball team is one of the most beautiful things in life because you get a group of brothers with the same goal and you can build deeper bonds that go beyond just being teammates. It’s from.
“What we often talk about is having a brother. You want a brother. You’re going to go through things with your brother. You’re going to have good moments. You’re going to have bad moments. “You’re mad at your brother, and your brother’s mad at you. Howard won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship for the second time in three seasons last week, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Howard had his worst shooting performance in the first half of the season and was trailed by double digits entering the second half. The Bison made a late comeback and cut Wagner’s lead to one point with 17 seconds left.
However, three missed 3-point attempts in the remaining six seconds sealed their fate.

“That run was a testament to who we are and what we’ve been through all season,” Harris said. “This is a resilient group. What you saw tonight was no surprise to us. We consider ourselves brothers, and brothers look out for each other in difficult times. Masu.”
Harris, a first-team All-MEAC selection and the Bison’s leading scorer, finished Tuesday’s contest with 16 points.
