REPORT: 3 Boys Try Fixing Bike, Get Robbed By Armed Men

Three teenage boys were reportedly trying to get their bikes repaired in Glen Burnie, Maryland, over the weekend when three men robbed them of their motorcycles near a local middle school.

According to Anne Arundel County Police, three juveniles, one of them 12 years old, are still on the run after one of the three suspects stole their bicycles. WBAL-TV reported. In Sunday’s robbery near Marley Middle School, one of the suspects showed the boys a gun in his waistband, the newspaper said. The three men were on their way to the store when one of their bike chains broke, so they stopped to try to fix it, the paper said. (Related: Report: Hit-and-run driver suspect dies after dragging bicycle for 1 mile)

Shortly afterward, three men approached the boys on foot and demanded they hand over their bicycles, including the broken one, Anne Arundel County Police Department spokesman Mark Limansky told WBAL-TV.

Police have a detailed description of the suspect and are continuing to search for him and the missing motorcycle, WBAL-TV continued.

The Daily Caller asked Anne Arundel County Police to confirm the incident, but did not receive a response by press time.
