Actor Ryan Phillippe Craving ‘Relationship with God’ after Completing Film about Christian Missionary

Actor Ryan Phillippe recently said he went on a “spiritual journey” and began “craving” a relationship with God after completing filming for his latest movie, Prey.

“It’s interesting because when I shot this, I was in a kind of dark place. And right after I shot this movie, I went on a spiritual journey and started really going deep inside. ” said Philip.

“I started reading the Bible and various other religious texts again, and I found myself drawn to this concept of spirituality,” he continued. “When I reached a certain age in my life, I thought I would have the things that would bring me joy and satisfaction: success and money, but that wasn’t the case.”

“I’m so grateful for what I’ve been given, the experiences, the kids and everything else,” the actor said. “But I wanted and longed to have a relationship and understanding with God.”

During an interview with Fox News, Philip also talked about how that spiritual journey changed his life.

“And since I started this journey, I’ve never felt more at peace. My depression has gone. I’ve broken the addiction so people can turn inward and those aspects of life. “I’m a big proponent of trying to understand,” he said.
