Several male police officers lost their jobs because of handkerchief panky. Lewis Powell, Hall’s boss.
The shocking investigative report revealed that then-Police Chief Burrell “Chip” Davis, who was fired in the scandal, not only knew about Hall’s affair but joked about it with others in the city. The survey results included.
“Who are you?” Davis is said to have said after another police officer, Ty McGowan, showed him an indecent photo of Hall.
“Hall…Lewis [Powell]’ replied McGowan.
“Here we go again,” the chief said jokingly.

La Vergne authorities did not immediately respond to the newspaper’s request for comment.
Ms. Hall claimed that her abusive behavior caused their marriage to fail.
Despite La Vergne’s decision to settle the lawsuit, one board member refused to approve it.
