As expected, about 8 million to 10 million illegal aliens from around the world have poured across the border since President Joe Biden took office.
In 2019, the incendiary candidate Biden called on people flocking to the southern border to “swarm” into the United States without specifying that legal sanctions were needed first, saying, “All those seeking asylum must immediately arrive at the border. I want you to remember that I called out, “Avalanche.”
In contrast, we know that legal immigration is America’s great strength, but it has always depended on some important preconditions.
Immigration must be legal and strict.
why? This is because only receiving countries can determine how many immigrants they can successfully accept and assimilate. We do not intend to encourage the Balkanized tribalism that is common in countries overseas torn apart by ethnic conflicts.
The United States needs to have some knowledge of immigrants’ backgrounds, especially whether they have criminal records, whether they belong to gangs, whether they import drugs, whether they carry infectious diseases, and whether they are self-sufficient. There is.
In contrast, if an immigrant first crosses the U.S. border illegally, secondly stays in the U.S. illegally, and thirdly obtains fraudulent identification to conceal that illegal activity, They end up establishing a long pattern of misconduct and disrespect. for their hosts.
Furthermore, immigration should be diverse so that large ethnic groups do not form permanent tribal sects, as in the Balkans, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Ideally, hosts should prefer immigrants who have some knowledge of the U.S. language and customs. And it must have some level of self-reliance so as not to burden American taxpayers or deprive poor Americans of social services by imposing excessive taxes.
Who is the host?
The United States must have sufficient confidence in, and sufficient knowledge of, immigrants’ values, customs, and traditions to demand their rapid integration into the American political system.
Both host and immigrant must agree on the basic facts of immigration.
Immigrants, not their hosts, chose to leave their homeland for a new life and identity in America.
Therefore, this relationship is asymmetric in nature. Organizers have the full right, and indeed the responsibility, to impose their own values on new participants. Not the other way around.
Otherwise, if immigrants do not absorb their newly adopted culture, why did they leave their homeland in the first place, in a sense rejecting it?
How to recreate in the United States the very conditions and environment from which they so eagerly fled their homeland?
Hosts must therefore remind immigrants that they have chosen a completely different paradigm from their home countries. Therefore, they must be supported to embrace an entirely new national identity.
Unfortunately, over the past four years, the Biden administration has violated every historical norm that is important for legal immigration to enrich America.
They encouraged 8 to 10 million of the world’s poorest people to flow across the border and enter and reside in the United States without legal sanctions.
Most people have no experience with American traditions, and few speak English.
The receiving Americans are aware that hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of the millions of people who enter the country illegally have committed crimes in their home countries, have some kind of employment history, or have medical conditions. Or are they here to incite gangs to import deadly drugs?I have no idea. Foreign-made drugs kill about 100,000 Americans a year.
Worse, we as organizers, united by the laws of our Constitution and the unique values that emanate from it, no longer believe in the melting pot that once made America the only successful multiracial democracy in the world. .
The combination of unaudited mass illegal immigration into a country with a $35 trillion national debt, 50 million existing residents not born in the U.S., and a lack of confidence in rapid assimilation is a combination of illegal immigration that is now becoming more evident every day. It clearly explains the devastation of the situation. .
Biden may think repealing federal immigration laws is a clever political trick, and in the past he has flipped states in the Southwest from red to blue and created congressional districts in blue states. It is possible that the census was distorted to increase the number of people.
Or that, at a time when 70 percent of voters vote by mail-in ballots that are poorly audited, there is no real way to prevent foreigners from voting for people who have been incapacitated to allow them into the country. Maybe.
But the truth is, unfortunately, Biden is undermining support for all immigrants, legal or not. He is ensuring that more Americans will be murdered by importing more drugs and gang members.
Ironically, Biden is driving once-loyal Black and Latino voters away from the Democratic Party. They, not party elites, must specifically address the consequences of Biden’s ruthless, cynical, ideologically driven policies.
Perhaps the left will stop destroying immigration laws only when it realizes that for every illegal alien it brings in, it loses one or more once-loyal Democratic voters.
