With left-wing politics sweeping New York City and the recent attack on former President Donald Trump, Glenn Beck thinks it’s time to step out of it.
Trump faces a Monday deadline to post $454 million bail in a civil fraud case against him in New York after Attorney General Letitia James said she would pursue him. .
“You can’t just take someone’s property just because you don’t like it,” Glenn said, adding that President Trump may be well aware that this will harm New York more than it will harm him. He pointed out that it was expensive.
Because this move itself is not just an attack on Mr. Trump, but an attack on New Yorkers and their property.
“This sends a message to the rest of the business community that if you disagree with the attorney general and the governor, they’re going to put you and your company out of business,” Glenn said.
Additionally, New York City’s “Squatters’ Rights” law was recently put in the spotlight after a woman was arrested after trying to change the locks and evict squatters from her $1 million home.
Adele Andaloro is a homeowner in Flushing, Queens, who is currently dealing with the ramifications of owning her own property in New York.
In New York City, anyone who has lived in a home for more than 30 days can claim “squatter rights.” The law states that homeowners can be charged with a crime if they change the locks, turn off utilities, or remove a “tenant’s” belongings from the premises. .
The squatter is currently subletting the home, and Andaloro was charged with “illegal eviction.”
“Tie this in with the Donald Trump story, what do you think will happen to New York?” Glenn added, “It’s only a matter of time before we get out of New York.”
