Eighties pop star Taylor Dayne is bidding farewell to her home in Los Angeles’ Valley Village after 10 years of ownership.
According to the Robb Report, Dane is asking for almost 2.5 times the amount he paid for the home. According to the outlet, Dane paid $1 million for the house in 2013, but is now asking just under $2.5 million.
Taylor’s home in the San Fernando Valley has five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and 3,864 square feet. This single family 2-story home is located on a lot of 7,000 sqft.
There is a black iron gate that cuts off the driveway from the road and sidewalk in front of the house.
Dane’s previous home was white with black-trimmed windows and a large black front door.
The Sotheby’s Realty listing describes the property’s backyard as a “retreat.”
Features an outdoor fireplace, lounge, dining deck, and swimmer’s pool.
There is also a separate garage in the backyard, which has been converted into a “private bathroom/flex space/studio” that can be used for a variety of purposes.
The interior of the home has an open concept floor plan with a spacious kitchen that connects to the living room and dining room.
There is a grand staircase separating the two floors.
The first floor has a guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a powder room.
Four additional bedrooms are located on the second floor.
The primary bedroom features a fireplace, private balcony, walk-in closet, and updated bathroom with floating tub and glass shower.
According to Robb Report, Dane bought an $800,000 two-bedroom condo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida “several years ago.”
Taylor is best known for her 1987 debut single, “Tell It to My Heart.”
Her most recent TV appearance was on “Ru Paul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race” in 2022.
