UConn stops Syracuse for 30th Sweet 16 berth in a row

The University Huskies advanced to the Sweet 16 with a narrow 72-64 victory over the Syracuse Orange in March Madness on Monday night in Hartford.

This is the 30th straight Sweet 16 appearance for the Huskies, the longest consecutive Sweet 16 appearance for any team in NCAA Tournament history.

They are scheduled to play Duke on Saturday.
