Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) said Monday that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is “prosecuting” former President Donald Trump over President Joe Biden’s campaign strategy, following news of a New York Court of Appeals decision to suspend the decision. He said it was “disgraceful” that it included doing so. It’s the clock that will enforce the $464 million judgment against Trump.
“It’s shameful that Biden’s entire campaign strategy depends on the Justice Department’s indictment of Donald Trump,” Cotton said Monday.
“It deserves a banana republic more than America,” he said.

More like a banana republic than America.

His remarks came after a state appellate board lowered bail at the last minute to $175 million in Trump’s civil suit in New York.
The five-judge panel of the New York Court of Appeals wrote in their order:
It is ordered that this motion be granted to the extent that enforcement of that portion of the judgment shall be stayed. (1) Ordering the disgorgement of her $464,576,230.62 to the Attorney General, subject to posting by defendant and appellant, from which date he shall have ten days to grant the claim; A $175 million project was awarded.
Meanwhile, President Trump said he “highly” respected the appellate division’s decision and said he would “promptly post $175 million in cash or surety within 10 days, if necessary, and that he would promptly submit $175 million in cash or surety bond, if necessary, to the appellate division.” Thank you,” he added. The Appellate Division acted quickly, but Judge Engoron is a disgrace to this country and this should not be tolerated. ”

Similar to Sen. Cotton, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) also noted that the Biden administration continues to target Trump through the Department of Justice, saying, “The Biden administration wants Trump to die in prison. and wants to bankrupt his family.”
“This is the greatest attack on democracy we have ever seen,” he added. “If you’re too cowardly to say it out loud, you’re not ready for this moment in American politics.”

Pro-Trump Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake commented on the decision, arguing that it shows “both Judge Engoron and Tish James are partisan hacks.”
Today’s bond ruling showed what partisan hacks Judge Engoron and Tish James are.
$175 million is still too high, but President Trump has built a great company that employs thousands of people and makes millions of dollars in the bank.
Election interference!

Even the establishment media acknowledged that Trump had won an “unexpected” victory with the ruling. But a spokesperson for the New York attorney general said Trump “remains held accountable” for what has been described as “astounding fraud.”
Nevertheless, Trump maintains his innocence, telling Truth Social, “This shows how ridiculous and outrageous Engoron’s original decision of $450 million was. “I’m doing it,” he wrote.
“I did nothing wrong and we should never put New York in this position again. Businesses are leaving, violent crime is skyrocketing, and we need to solve this problem once and for all as soon as possible.” “It’s very important that we do that,” he added.
