Then the guy who said nothing about MSNBC giving away Jen “laptop denier” Psaki, Joy “homophobe” Reed, or Al.Crown HeightsSharpton is now falsely (and comically) claiming on their show that their opposition to McDaniel is not ideological.

“The issue is not about ideology, it’s about fundamental truth. Those trying to make this a left-right issue are intentionally dishonest,” Todd tweeted Monday. “This is a question of whether honest journalists should put their trust in someone who deliberately tried to destroy our trust.”
So the same man who lied to America for years in a deranged conspiracy to deny the results of the 2016 presidential election is now all the rage. reliability and Honesty?

Todd said nothing when his MSNBC colleague Joe Scarborough falsely claimed that President Trump would jail and execute people if he won the 2024 presidential election.
We all know the truth…If Todd demanded that NBC management hold the left to the same standards that it holds McDaniel, MSNBC would have no staff. Hell, Todd would have to demand that Chuck Todd be fired.
Look at all these hoaxes….

zero. Zip. Nada. No 1. Absolutely not. No, no matter what. no way. It requires integrity and moral courage.
But RNC-ready is a bridge too far for a man who doubted the 2016 election results even after Special Counsel Robert Mueller shot them down…
There are no Trump supporters on MSNBC. No 1. If Todd had any credibility as a journalist, he would protest about it. And McDaniel isn’t even a Trump supporter. This is RINO Squish. But Todd’s McCarthyite quest for ideological purity cannot handle even that.
This is good.
It’s infuriating to see Chuck Todd tell such bold lies with no shame, but it’s a good thing. The more the corporate media reveals its fascist and dishonest nature, the less power and influence it has over the masses it has already largely ignored.
And that’s a big part of the problem… Todd lost his influence in manipulating public opinion years ago. People stopped listening to him even before DEI was lifted. meet the press. The guy who was once able to push the narrative is now the eunuch who does the podcast. It will be humiliating, and like a bitter troll under a bridge, he is ready to attack anything.
So what better way to get back into the news cycle than to pick a fight with your own employer over a Republican hire…? To feel like you’re making an impact again, start a Joe McCarthy-style movement to get Republicans involved. Is there a better (and safer) way than to fire the employee? Admittedly, the low-hanging fruit of getting rid of an unpopular colleague doesn’t match Todd’s glory days. But it’s not nothing. His partisan bloodlust and voracious desire to feel influential are somewhat satisfied…and he’s on TV again.
