Tre’Davious White will be leaving the AFC East.
The former Bills All-Pro corner will sign a one-year deal with the Rams worth more than $10 million with incentives. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. Tuesday.
White, 29, spent his first seven seasons with the Bills and is currently working his way back from a torn Achilles tendon suffered in October.
Dr. Neal El-Atrache, who performed White’s surgery, is the Rams’ team doctor. And according to Schefterthe two spent time together during the defensive back’s rehabilitation.
When healthy, he was considered one of the best lockdown corners in the NFL.
White was one of a flurry of roster cuts the Bills made earlier this month to cut down on much-needed salary cap space.
Those cuts also included All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer, center Mitch Morse, defensive back Cilan Neal, receiver Deonte Harty, and running back/kick returner Nyheim Hines.
