Trump legal entanglements more keeping him out White House

Monday was the deadline for President Trump’s bail on his $454 million civil business fraud judgment, but just before the hourglass ran out of sand, Trump won an appeal to reduce his bail to $175 million, and he was pleased. He said he would pay in cash.

While this is certainly good news for the former president, he is still embroiled in a number of other lawsuits.

“I feel like we need a flowchart of the various lawsuits against Donald Trump at this point,” Sarah Gonzalez sighs. “They are literally weaponizing every judicial system to put their political opponents behind bars.”

Kyle Rittenhouse says the reason the list of Trump trials continues is because “they’re scared.”

“They’re like, ‘No, no, no, we don’t need Trump to step in and fix what we’ve already messed up,'” he tells Sarah.

Sarah agreed, adding, “When you can’t act on your own policy, that’s what you have to do.”

“What’s there? Everything goes up: gas prices go up, grocery bills go up. The withdrawal in Afghanistan fails, more than 10 million strangers are sent into the interior without inspection. I allowed them to break in. What else are you thinking about at the moment besides ‘Orangeman Bad’?” she asks.

“This is an intimidation tactic not only to bring him down, but also to prevent anyone else from running,” says Blades contributor Matthew Marsden.

But there’s another reason they’re after him, and it’s perhaps the most sinister one.

No one puts it better than Trump himself.

“At the end of the day, they’re not coming after me. They’re coming after you, and I’m just getting in their way,” he said of seven cases related to the alleged mishandling of classified documents. He said this last year after the indictment was announced.

“I think we can talk about that, Kyle,” Sarah says.

“That’s exactly right…if they’re willing to make up all these lies and put a former sitting president on trial, what are these Soros-funded prosecutors doing to ordinary people like me and you?” Are we going to do that? They’re going to come after us,” Kyle says.
