Draymond Green made a quick hook in Wednesday night’s road game between the Golden State Warriors and the Orlando Magic.
Green was ejected less than four minutes into the game at Orlando’s Kia Center after getting into an argument with referee Ray Acosta.
With the Warriors leading the Magic 6-4 in the first quarter, Orlando star Paolo Banchero drove to the hoop of Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins for a bucket, and Wiggins was whistled for a foul. Ta.
Green then approached Acosta and was whistled for a quick technical.
The Warriors’ NBC Sports Bay Area announcer warned Green that he needed to be careful about continuing the altercation since Golden State had already won Jonathan Kuminga in this contest, but Green held the official in the jaw. I kept chewing.
Green’s teammates tried to play peacemaker, but Green persisted, then was ejected for his second technical foul with 8:24 left in the first quarter.

He had one assist and three rebounds.
The exit comes at a trying time for the Warriors, who at 37-34 are just one game behind the Rockets for the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference and a chance to advance to the postseason in the NBA play-in tournament. He has earned the last spot.
Green has missed much time this season after previously serving an indefinite suspension (12 games total) for punching Suns big man Jusuf Nurkic in the face.
