A Pennsylvania man allegedly brutally murdered his neighbor with a chainsaw while wearing a Scream mask before returning home to watch a movie, police said.
The victim, Edward Whitehead Jr., 59, was found dead Monday afternoon with severe cuts to his head and arms and defensive wounds on his hands, state police told local media. He was found at his home in Lehighton and pronounced dead.
Whitehead was “struck multiple times with a knife and a battery-powered chainsaw,” State Trooper Anthony Petroski said. told WFMZ.
“The suspect was wearing an all-black outfit with a mask of the Scream character from the movie from a few years ago,” the officer said.
