A Mexican immigrant has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter in the fatal Rigby, Idaho, crash that killed 22-year-old Brock Stoddard and seriously injured his girlfriend, Hannah Britton. It was announced.
On Monday, 19-year-old Alonso Hernandez Garcia declared He is charged with causing the Aug. 11, 2023, crash that killed Stoddard and seriously injured 24-year-old Britton. Garcia was speeding at the time of the accident and collided head-on with Stoddard and Britton.
Stoddard died at the scene, and Britton was taken to an Idaho Falls hospital where he was treated for multiple serious injuries.
