As crimes committed by illegal aliens skyrocket across the United States, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) has begun issuing notices to citizens to be on the lookout for immigrant pickpocket gangs roaming the Big Apple.
A recent post on Viral News NYC showed footage of an NYPD electronic bulletin truck warning residents to be aware of their surroundings and belongings.
The account said, “There is an NYPD sign truck in New York City’s Times Square that says “Beware of KF pickpockets,” and pickpockets have been on the rise in the midtown Manhattan area over the past year and a half. They have organized multiple pickpocket groups in various places, and multiple people have been arrested.

The newspaper reported that the New York City Police Department said Torren de Aragua was recruiting new members from a number of immigrant shelters in the Big Apple.
“This is organized crime. It’s like the Mafia,” Paul DiGiacomo, president of the city’s Detective Endowment Association, told the newspaper.
South American gangs have also flooded the New York suburbs, carrying out organized retail theft in shopping malls and stores.
New York is not alone in this problem.
Chicago faces similar problems. Late last year, it was reported that the number of arrests of undocumented Venezuelans has increased by more than 11,000 percent since 2021.

In addition, the city is plagued by organized retail theft rings run by immigrants, both in the city and in its suburbs.
Crimes committed by illegal immigrants in Los Angeles also skyrocketed in 2023. Last year, ICE officials arrested 73,822 noncitizens with criminal records. ICE added“This group had 290,178 relevant charges and convictions, an average of four per person.
These included 33,209 assaults. 4,390 cases of sex and sexual assault. 7,520 weapons offenses. There were 1,713 murder charges or convictions. and 1,655 kidnapping crimes. ”
