Donte DiVincenzo breaks Knicks’ single-season 3-point record

Donte DiVincenzo is officially in the Knicks record books.

The guard tied Evan Fournier’s single-season record with his 242nd 3-pointer from beyond the arc with 1:44 left in the second quarter of the Knicks’ game against the Spurs on Friday night in San Antonio. Broke it.

DiVincenzo was worth every penny of the four-year, $50 million contract he signed this offseason, giving the Knicks a valuable secondary scoring source to ease Jalen Brunson’s workload.

He set the Knicks’ single-game 3-point record with 11 of them on an incredible 40-point night against the Pistons on Monday.

The Villanova product entered Friday’s game and made 40 percent of his shots from 3-point land.
