Demonstrators shouting “Liberate Palestine!” And those demanding action on climate change disrupted the Easter Vigil at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City on Saturday night.
Three climate demonstrators were arrested this evening after they interrupted Easter services at St Patrick’s Cathedral with banners reading ‘Silence = Death’.

The protest was recorded by the cathedral on a livestream of the service on YouTube, about 47 minutes into the program, during a reading in Spanish.
The woman conducting the reading raised her voice slightly to overcome the loud outbursts, but never lost her composure.

The protests were eventually drowned out by people joining the choir inside the cathedral to sing “Hallelujah.”

As Breitbart News reported in December, pro-Palestinian protests have targeted Christian symbols around the world, disrupting Christmas tree lightings and other Christmas celebrations.
Local Spectrum News New York 1 report Pro-Palestinian protesters reportedly also targeted St. Patrick’s Cathedral during Christmas Mass in December.
Despite the ongoing war, on Easter Sunday, Israeli Christians celebrate the holy day with processions in Jerusalem and other traditional events.
