The attorney representing Chiefs wide receiver Laci Rice claims his client is cooperating with local authorities in Dallas regarding a traffic accident involving a registered vehicle.
Texas State Sen. Royce West, managing partner of the law firm West & Associates LLP, issued a statement saying that Rice is cooperating with police and that his client’s “feelings are with him.” ” was directed to those affected by the accident.
“His thoughts are with everyone affected by Saturday’s car accident. Lachie is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to deal with this situation responsibly.” West wrote to X.

According to reports, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Lamborghini were racing in Dallas just after 6 p.m. local time when the driver of the vehicle lost control, causing a multi-vehicle accident.
JUST IN: Chiefs receiver Lachie Rice is wanted by Dallas police for allegedly causing a six-vehicle accident.
Rice is believed to have been street racing his Corvette with someone in a Lamborghini.

The drivers of the vehicle registered to Rice reportedly fled the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was also injured, as were two other people, one of whom remained hospitalized as of Sunday night.
