According to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, the women “were traveling together to pick up the children” but “never arrived at the pick-up location.”
“We believe they are in danger because we haven’t heard from them in three days,” OSBI Public Affairs Manager Hunter McKee told Fox News Digital. “Their vehicle was last seen in a very rural area of the state as well. We have not located them yet. We are doing everything we can.”

A Facebook profile attributed to Kelly lists her as the secretary of Hugoton First Church of Christ in Hugoton, Kansas.
Her mother told KSNW that she runs children’s programs there and is heavily involved in volunteer work in the community. Kelly has four children, the station said.
According to the McCook Gazette, Kelly is also the wife of Heath Kelly, the current pastor of Hugoton First Church of Christ, who will be the new pastor of Willow Church of Christ in Indianola, Nebraska.
“We believe in the power of prayer and hope that God will bring them to safety,” Willow Christian Church said Sunday, ahead of a scheduled “prayer time for Jillian Kelly and Veronica Butler and their families.” I believe he will take me home,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

A person who identified herself as a close friend of Butler’s told KSNW that Butler was good with children and loved gardening, cooking and baking.
“Veronica has several tattoos, including a Chinese symbol on her left forearm and a sunflower on her left shoulder,” the Texas County Sheriff’s Office missing person advisory states. “Gillian has a butterfly tattoo on her left forearm.”
Butler is 5 feet 4 inches tall with red hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt and denim shorts, according to the alert.
Kelly has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and tan or beige shoes.
