Jill Biden snaps at mention of poll with president trailing Trump in six swing states: ‘No, he’s not

Jill Biden is trying to shrug off recent dismal polls showing former President Donald Trump leading her husband, President Joe Biden, in all but one battleground state.

During an appearance on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, the first lady was asked about the status of Biden’s re-election campaign, particularly that the Democratic incumbent is trailing former President Trump in six out of seven elections in 2024. “He’s on par or better,” Jill added. “You know, once people start paying attention and they see two options, it’s clear that Joe is going to win this election.”

The first lady was also asked if she was at all concerned about President Biden’s re-election efforts, to which she replied, “No, no, no. I think Joe will be re-elected.”

According to a Wall Street Journal poll released Tuesday, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina currently play key roles in securing victory in the November vote.
