Iowa State’s Caitlin Clark won the Associated Press (AP) Player of the Year Award in women’s basketball for the second straight year, receiving 35 of 36 votes.
Clark had a perfect 2023-24 season, becoming the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer in March.
She averaged 27.1 points, far ahead of second-place JuJu Watkins, and led the NCAA in scoring with 32 points per game. Clark also averaged nearly a triple-double, averaging over nine assists and seven rebounds per game.

But where Clark really shined was his three-ball shooting. Her ability to shoot from anywhere propelled her to the top of the NCAA with her 193 3-pointers. Her closest competitor was 115. according to Go to NCAA.com.

Clark won his first Most Valuable Player award after a stellar 2023, and he won the Most Valuable Player award again.
