The FBI and Los Angeles Police Department are investigating a robbery in which approximately $30 million was stolen.

A short report from law enforcement says an investigation has been launched into the robbery. Millions of dollars stolen from a San Fernando Valley cash storage facility in one of the largest cash heists in Los Angeles history.
Officials said the robbery occurred on Easter Sunday night at an unnamed facility that handles cash from businesses in the area.
This was revealed by a person familiar with the investigation. sighting news The thieves reportedly entered the facility from the roof and did not set off the alarm when they entered.
Several television crews were filming outside the facility in an industrial area of Sylmar on Thursday morning. Aerial footage showed a large cutout in the side of the building, which appeared to be covered with plywood.
However, it is unclear whether the damage was caused by an intrusion.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI.
