Seattle Public Schools is ‘reviewing’ comments of communist teacher who said that murder of Israelis on October 7th was justified

Seattle public schools Announced Communist Seattle public school teacher Ian Golash said he was “considering” inflammatory statements that seemed to justify the Oct. 7 killing of Israeli civilians by the terrorist group Hamas.

Mr Golash is no stranger to controversy, telling students earlier this year that it was “uncomfortable” for them to identify as straight, because doing so meant gay people were “bent”. When conservative activists in Seattle began scrutinizing his social media posts earlier this year, they found him claiming the truth about Oct. 7 and that Hamas beheaded and raped people during the Oct. 7 attacks. It was also revealed that he denied the later confirmed report.

Several Accuracy in Media activists confronted Golash on campus in an interview that was caught on camera. In the interview, Golash was asked whether a woman had been killed at the Reims music festival during the October 7 attack, to which he replied, “Murdered.” Mr. Golash was later asked whether these killings were justified, to which he replied: “Yes.”

When questioned, Golash seemed to realize the mistake he had made and responded half-heartedly. The questioner asked, “In your opinion, was the murder of an innocent woman who was just attending a music festival justified?”

Golash replied: “No, I think resistance against Israel is justified, yes.”

This was announced by Seattle public school officials. KOMO-TV On Friday, it said it was “considering” Golash’s comments, but did not provide further explanation. “While the review is ongoing, we will not comment on personnel matters related to this topic. Creating a high-quality, inclusive educational environment for our students is a top priority for SPS. We do not tolerate anti-Semitic or Islamophobic speech or behavior.” In schools, offices, etc. ”
