Pro-Palestine supporters chant ‘Death to America!’ in Michigan, demand ‘entire’ US system be eliminated

Pro-Palestinian supporters chanted “Death to America!” At a rally in Dearborn, Michigan, he called for abolishing “the entire” American system. A pro-Palestinian rally was held Friday to coincide with the International Al-Quds Day rally in Dearborn. The rally featured a speaker, Tarek Bazzi, a Michigan-based activist associated with the Hadi Institute.

Bazzi said pro-Palestinian protests need to be not only anti-Israel, but also anti-American, because “it is the US government that is funding all the atrocities” in Gaza. insisted.

“The cry ‘Death to Israel!’ has become the most logical chant being shouted around the world today,” he claimed.

Michigan-based Iman Osama Abdulghani commented that Israel is an “evil settler colonialist project” and a “cancer.”

He said “conscious people” recognize that “Israel is ISIS, it’s a Nazi, it’s a fascist, it’s a racist.”

Protesters could then be heard shouting “Free Palestine” and “From the river to the sea”.

The phrase “from the river to the sea” calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, while completely eliminating the state of Israel.

In February, Michigan Democrats rebelled against their own party’s leadership in the state’s primary over the Israel-Hamas war and appealed to voters to oppose Biden.

While in Dearborn, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) tripped over a group of progressives who vehemently opposed “Biden’s funding of war and genocide in Gaza.”

Pro-Palestinian groups have increasingly opposed U.S. aid to Israel, even hinting that it would allow former President Donald Trump to win the crucial state of Michigan in the 2024 presidential election.
