The attack on the judge against Musk began on Saturday night after Moraes threatened to “cut off access” to the platform that Musk purchased in 2022.

“We will probably lose all our revenue in Brazil and have to close our office there,” Musk warned.

Moraes is one of 11 members of Brazil’s high court, presides over the country’s High Electoral Tribunal (TSE), and a controversial figure.

Critics of Moraes, including Mr. Musk, have spoken out in Brazil after Mr. Moraes ordered the blocking of accounts of influential figures, many of whom supported former President Jair Bolsonaro. It has been accused of suppressing freedom of speech.
The former president was declared ineligible to run by the Eastern Stock Exchange, led by Moraes, for allegedly spreading disinformation about the country’s electoral system.
