Jake Paul says Mike Tyson is ‘underestimating’ him, jokes he has to join Trump at Chick-fil-A to beef up

Jake Paul vowed Wednesday to beat Mike Tyson in a boxing match this summer and said he plans to overcome his doubters.

Paul appeared on FOX News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Prime Time” to talk about his upcoming bout with the former heavyweight champion, suggesting he is the perfect counter to anything Tyson brings to the ring.

“I think he underestimates me, I really do. And this is a heavyweight fight,” Paul said. “He’s bigger, but I’m faster. He’s much stronger, but I’m fresher. He’s more experienced.

“I’m smart, but in the ring he might be smarter. So this is a really interesting matchup. But I think the whole world … and a lot of people have watched his training videos. And… Yeah, he looks like a beast, he’s a dog, he’s ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

“But I believe I have what it takes to beat him. I know this is the toughest test of my life, and to be able to be there with Mike I’m honored. But at the end of the day, I’m the one who raises my hand.”

Paul understands what Tyson can bring and joked that he would have to work with former President Trump to get the “God’s Chicken” to add volume to his body.

“It’s going to be tough. He’s the bigger guy,” Paul said. “He’s going to go in. I’m probably going to go to Chick-fil-A with Mr. Trump to make weight for this fight. But I believe I’m fast on my feet and I’m fast on my hands. So make sure you’re at the working angle.

“And I don’t care. Mike has a game plan. I’m still going to beat him. That’s how confident I am in my abilities.”

“Even if I knock out my teeth, he can’t bite off my ear.”

Paul vowed that this would be a just fight and an “all-out war.”

Mike Tyson admits he’s ‘scared to death’ about fighting Jake Paul

Despite multiple social media posts showing his training sessions, Tyson told Sean Hannity last week that he was “scared to death” heading into the fight with Paul.

Tyson said, “I have a weird personality. I don’t think it’s weird, but I’ll do anything I’m scared to do. It is what it is.” “What was scary was [Roy Jones Jr. fight in 2020].

“I was 100 pounds overweight, 54 and 53, and I said, “Let’s do it.” It’s so scary.”

But it was what propelled Tyson back into the ring.

“I always believed that adversity and tension would lead me to success,” Tyson said. “If I didn’t have these emotions, I wouldn’t be in this fight. You have to have these emotions to fight. Without those emotions, I would never step into the ring.”

But when “reality” sets in, Tyson is all business and the butterflies fly away.

“The closer I get to the fight, the more nervous I get, because this is the reality. And the fact is, I’m invincible,” Tyson said.

Tyson admitted that Paul has come a long way since becoming a viral YouTube star.
