Why should we care that Elon Musk was insulted by a Brazilian Supreme Court justice? This story turned out to be the tip of the fascist iceberg, funded by the people’s taxes.Michael Shellenberger was recently released. incredible video This is indicative of the alarming corruption currently occurring in Brazil. This same type of corruption is entrenched in our government. It’s shocking.
The judge who despises Mr. Musk is Alexandre de Moraes, who ousted conservative President Jair Bolsonaro and elected the current socialist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, or Mr. Lula for short. He is a key figure in the hotly contested 2022 presidential election. Mr. Moraes unilaterally, without trial, blocked all speech that questioned the results of the 2022 election. Sound familiar?
Since we cannot win on the battlefield of ideology, we must close the battlefield.
For context: new york times Here’s what he said about Moraes last year:
He is a defender of democracy in Brazil. Is he really good for democracy? Brazil’s Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes was a pivotal figure in the transfer of power in Brazil. But his aggressive tactics are controversial: Can it go too far to fight the far right?
Think about how incredible that question is. Also, why is it just right? Shouldn’t they be concerned about the radical left as well? more:
When Brazilian highway police began seizing buses carrying voters on election day, he ordered them to stop. After right-wing voices spread baseless claims that Brazil’s election was stolen, he ordered them banned from social media.
And when thousands of right-wing protesters stormed Brazil’s power buildings this month, he ordered the arrests of the officials responsible for guarding the building.
As a result, de Moraes paved the way for a transfer of power in the face of anti-democratic attacks from Brazil’s former far-right president Jair Bolsonaro and his supporters. For many on Brazil’s left, he was the man who saved Brazil’s young democracy.
But for many others in Brazil, he threatens it. Mr. de Moraes’ aggressive approach and growing powers have made him one of the most powerful people in the country, while also trumping Brazil’s complex debate over how far is too far to fight the far right. It is also the center. …
For many on Brazil’s left, he was the man who saved Brazil’s young democracy.
According to the New York Times, here are some of the things Moraes did:
He has become even bolder in his pursuit of justice after this month’s riots. His orders banning prominent voices online have proliferated and are now aimed at Bolsonaro, the man accused of fanning the flames of extremism in Brazil. Mr. de Moraes last week added Mr. Bolsonaro to a federal investigation into the riots that he oversees, suggesting the former president may have incited the violence.
Sound familiar? The article continues:
His move fits into a broader trend of increasing power for Brazil’s highest court and, in the process, becoming what critics say is a more repressive direction..
Mr. Moraes has not stopped his harsh crackdown on free speech. Over the weekend, Moraes told social media platforms Facebook, Google and X that he would ban them from posting in Brazil unless they handed over all consumer data about what people posted. Everyone complied except Elon Musk. He correctly called Moraes a fascist. Michael Shellenberger agreed, saying Brazil is becoming a fascist dictatorship because of this man.
If you remember, the left said Bolsonaro was a dictator. They have now become dictators themselves in order to stop the “dictators” who are already banned from running for re-election until 2030. This is exactly the scenario we were concerned about here in America. But no one seems to care. No one but the deep state.
mike benz recently exposed How the Deep State is using people’s tax dollars to control a censorship campaign across Brazil. He found that taxpayer-funded NGOs such as the U.S. Agency for International Development and the National Endowment for Democracy were funding numerous censorship groups in Brazil, and this funding began at the beginning of Bolsonaro’s presidential term. Back in 2019. The state fought Bolsonaro using people’s tax dollars through NGOs, just as it did against Donald Trump.
In June 2019, the Atlantic Council, a corrupt globalist institution, convened a meeting to discuss how to deal with the rise in “disinformation” within Brazil, which is essentially pro-Bolsonaro. surprised! The Atlantic Council is a CIA “pass-through.” There are also seven former CIA directors on the board. It is funded annually by the Department of Defense, the State Department, and the National Endowment for Democracy, which is also funded by the CIA. Additionally, many “university centers” and “civil society organizations” in Brazil receive funding from the National Endowment for Democracy. This is evidence that the CIA, State Department, and USAID directly funded Brazil’s censorship apparatus against Bolsonaro.
Social media was already being censored in Brazil in 2019. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, like the United States, have come under heavy censorship attack. So Bolsonaro supporters turned to WhatsApp and Telegram to spread their message. Because they basically got kicked out of Facebook.
Again, does any of this sound familiar?
However, the deep state could not tolerate Brazilian citizens speaking outside of government oversight. The Atlantic Council and many other CIA agents targeted WhatsApp and Telegram to pressure the Brazilian government to crack down on “disinformation” on these platforms. And they gave in. WhatsApp and Telegram censored Bolsonaro supporters they labeled as “right-wing population nationalists.” This is the work of the US government.
Since when was the last time a supposed American ally threatened a major American company and said, “Hand over this or you’ll be kicked out of the country?” Why doesn’t the State Department say, “Sorry, Mr. Brazil, we’ve been indebted to you.” No harm will be done to American companies. ” Who does Brazil think will tell us what American companies can and cannot do, especially if it violates its own principles?
Those doctrines are no longer important. The deep state has its own agenda. As Pat Gray said recently on my show, “They can’t win on the battlefield of ideas, so they need to close the battlefield.”
Why do we want you to know what’s happening in Brazil? It should be taken as a warning about where we are heading. The Brazilian Supreme Court currently has final authority. There are no checks or balances. Authorities are putting people in prison without trial. Citizens have no right to speak. The government can tell businesses exactly what to do or shut them down. As a result of the dictator hunt, the government became a dictatorship. That is extremely important for all Americans to understand.
People on the left say “democracy dies in the dark,” but they are the ones who are shutting down all the freedoms our country claims to uphold. They are the ones who keep us in the dark. What’s happening in Brazil will happen here if we don’t vote. This is our future in America.
