“School leaders must make significant changes to support the Jewish community on campus. We expect nothing less.”

The disturbing report card recorded 746 alleged anti-Semitic incidents across 85 campuses.

Amid the Israel-Hamas war and growing protests in support of either Israel or the Palestinians, reports of anti-Semitism on American college campuses are surging.

The disturbing incidents reported on America’s top university campuses include numerous anti-Israel protests spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric.

At Harvard University, some pro-Palestinian student groups were quick to blame Israel for Hamas’ brutal surprise attack on the Jewish state. Later, former Ivy League President Claudine Gay refused to say that those who called for the genocide of Jews at the university would be punished in damning Congressional testimony in December.

Jewish students at Columbia University reported being spat at and receiving anti-Semitic rhetoric such as “fuck the Jews.”

In October 2023, an Israeli student was beaten with a club outside a university library after confronting an attacker who had torn up a flyer about Israeli hostages held by a terrorist group.

Columbia University also has a professor, Joseph Massad, after he described Hamas’ terrorist attacks against Israel as a “resistance attack” against “Israeli settler colonialism and racism against Palestinians.” He also received a request for his dismissal.

Cornell University experienced some of the highest-profile anti-Semitic incidents on campus last fall. These included incidents in which students threatened to shoot Jewish students and attacked a kosher cafeteria on campus.

Additionally, Cornell University professor Russell Rickford said at a campus rally that he was “excited” by the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

“Jewish students, like all students, should feel safe and supported on campus. They should be provided with a learning environment free of anti-Semitism and hatred. But before October 7th, “I haven’t experienced widespread anti-Semitism on campus since then,” Greenblatt said.

“At a time when anti-Semitic incidents on campus are reaching historic levels, administrators are adopting new policies to address this scourge and implementing existing policies to ensure the safety of all students. We need to be willing to enforce a code of conduct.”
