Sources told Fox26 that the tractor-trailer had been reported stolen and that police were pursuing the truck before it crashed into the building. Overhead video shows the truck making a sharp right turn and appearing to crash straight into the building’s center door. The sheriff’s office vehicle then appeared to back up until it struck the left rear tire of the trailer. This rendered the vehicle inoperable and it is unclear whether the driver was unable to flee.
