MEGHAN Markle was photographed seemingly refusing to let a woman stand next to Prince Harry for a photo to celebrate his polo team’s recent victory.
in Video circulating on social media, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, approaches her husband’s side as another woman approaches him on stage at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida, on Friday. They posed for photos after the Royal Salute Polo Challenge.
Like the “Suits” alum, Markle was initially unfazed by the unidentified woman in a cream-colored dress, but stood her ground. I heard the Duchess ask, “Would you like to come here?”
Markle then smiled and motioned for the woman to stand on her left side, while someone else in the video again suggested: “Come over here.”
The woman crouched under the trophy and took a seat next to the Duchess.
One person commented on the video of the incident: “She seems to be insecure about her husband, which is why she remains so attached to him and to any woman. [stands] He asks her to stand next to her. ”
Another said: “Meghan’s controlling personality is on display for the world to see. So lacking in grace and generosity of spirit. She has included herself in Harry’s team’s victory. Frustrating.”
Last year, sources denied that the couple, who married in 2018, were having trouble in paradise amid rumors about their marriage. But naysayers later said they would only last a few more years.
But the latest awkward situation occurred shortly after Markle presented Harry, 39, with a trophy and kissed him as they posed for photos with the team.
The two appeared to be in good spirits throughout the day, as they were photographed holding hands as they arrived at a charity event.
The polo match, which benefited Harry’s Sentebale charity, comes after an exciting few weeks for the couple.
Page Six confirmed Thursday that Markle and Harry’s Archewell Productions are working on two new series for Netflix, which signed a lucrative deal in 2020.
