Former President Trump on Saturday mocked the judges who have participated in his various legal battles, asking who among them are the worst and most corrupt.
The case continues his attacks on the judges appointed to preside over his various cases and comes just before his hush money trial begins in New York on Monday.
“Who is the worst, most evil, most corrupt judge? Judge Arthur Engoron, Judge Lewis Kaplan, or my current disaster in New York, Judge Juan Marchand? Or?” Trump Said In a post by Truth Social.
Marchand is scheduled to preside over the hush money trial, which, when it begins on Monday, will become the first former US president to stand trial on criminal charges in US history.
“They all come from New York, where violent crime is rampant (without retaliation!), they are very bad judges, extraordinarily divisive and unfair, and most obviously, they suffer from what is commonly known as Trump Derangement Syndrome.” “I am suffering from TDS, a rare but extremely deadly disease,” the former president wrote.
Mr. Engoron and Mr. Kaplan oversaw both Mr. Trump’s New York civil fraud case and the E. Jean Carroll defamation case.
Trump has previously slammed Marchand’s daughter Lauren, a former executive at a progressive political consulting firm who has worked for Democrats, including President Biden and Vice President Harris.
Lauren Marchan appears to be behind an account on social platform X that used a photo illustration of Trump in prison as its profile picture, according to the Associated Press. A court spokeswoman said the account was no longer linked to her. It has since been made public and the photo has been updated.
