Mixed martial arts star Renato Moicano gave an impassioned speech Saturday after his hard-fought victory over Jalyn Turner at UFC 300 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Moicano bounced back from a near-disastrous first round with a flurry of ground-and-pound punches and finished Turner at 4 minutes, 11 seconds into the second round.
Moicano improved his MMA record to 19-5-1 and UFC record to 11-5. Moicano has won three straight and hasn’t lost a fight in the UFC since 2022.
Following an impressive come-from-behind victory, Moicano delivered a knockout punch to anti-American sentiment and socialism.
During the post-fight interview, the Brazilian-born fighter grabbed the microphone from Joe Rogan and launched into a patriotic rant about America and capitalism.
“I’m a big supporter of the First Amendment and of course I want a $300,000 bonus, but they won’t give it to me because someone says Disney is crap. I can’t curse. …That’s why I’m doing it.’ I’m not going to give my speech. ”
“I love America. I love the Constitution. I love the First Amendment,” Moicano told UFC fans in Las Vegas. “I want to carry and own guns. I love private property.”
Moicano continued, “And if you care about your country, the six lessons of Ludwig von Mises and the Austrian School of Economics, let me say this, mothers.”
Ludwig von Mises was a prominent economist who had a great influence on the Austrian school of economics. Mises advocated limiting government intervention in economic affairs and promoted free market ideas.
