Biden sees highest approval rating since November

President Biden recorded his highest approval rating since November on Monday, reaching 43%.

New survey from Financial Times and University of Michigan Ross School of Business It found Biden’s approval rating at 43 percent, up 4 points from the same poll in March.

The poll also found that 41% of registered voters approve of his handling of economic policy, an increase of 5 points from March.

Comparing Biden and former President Trump, the poll found that 41% of voters trust Trump more than Biden on the economy. Thirty-five percent say they trust Biden more than Trump, and 16% say they don’t trust either person on the economy.

Biden has faced consistently low approval ratings in recent months, rarely exceeding 40%.in ABC News/Ipsos poll His approval rating in January fell to 33 percent, and a February Gallup poll found it had fallen to 38 percent.

Biden’s approval rating was 45% in November, according to the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll, up from 44% and 42% in the previous months. This high approval rating was tied to support for Biden’s economic policy response, with 44% backing Biden’s efforts in this area at the time.

The new poll was conducted from April 4th to 8th among 1,010 registered voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points.
