Rubon said there is a difference between the Tehran regime and the Iranian state, which is made up of ordinary Iranians who want to live in peace.
“If you listen to our voices over the last two years, let alone the last 45 years, you will see that the Iranians do not want war with Israel,” she said. “We want peace with Israel.”

“You are the ones who want war with Israel. Your hatred of Israel and your hatred of Jews is dragging us into a war we don’t want,” Rubon told supporters of the Islamic Republic. “I am here,” he said.
