President Joe Biden’s parole pipeline has released more than 950,000 foreign nationals into the United States since its start in January 2023, more than the entire population of South Dakota.
Late last week, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced: numbers This comes as Biden’s parole pipeline continues to release tens of thousands of foreign nationals into the U.S. interior via the southern border and commercial flights.
Thanks to Biden’s parole pipeline, more than 950,000 foreign nationals will be released into American society from January 2023 to March 2024. The pipeline will bring foreign nationals to the United States through the administration’s “CBP One” mobile app and “humanitarian parole.”
For comparison, more foreign nationals have entered the United States on parole under the Biden administration than there are people living in South Dakota.
The CBP One app, which allows people in northern Mexico to make border appointments for release into the U.S. interior, has brought more than 547,000 foreign nationals into Mexico. Those arriving via CBP One are primarily from Venezuela, Haiti, and Mexico.
Similarly, approximately 404,000 citizens of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela entered the United States on humanitarian parole during the same 15-month period. Those who secure humanitarian parole enter the United States on commercial flights after receiving permission to enter the country from DHS.
Specifically, DHS has allowed approximately 84,000 Cubans, 154,000 Haitians, 69,000 Nicaraguans, and 95,000 Venezuelans to fly into the United States. , secured humanitarian parole.
Those granted parole under the Biden administration have a very high success rate when applying for immigration benefits. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Ala.) said at a hearing last week that the Department of Homeland Security approves parole for more than 97 percent of applicants.
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that despite the high approval ratings, “they are [parole] Cases are accepted on a case-by-case basis. ”
