Swing-State Voters Sour on Endless Ukraine Funding

Voted by Heritage Foundation show Voters in battleground states have no desire to push back against U.S. restrictions on Ukraine, especially with Ukraine’s southern border wide open to an ongoing invasion deliberately engineered by his corrupt Joe Biden. They are becoming increasingly fed up with the lack of funding.

Meanwhile, one Republican leader, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), continues to push for funding for Ukraine without first demanding that it protect itself from invasion.

The losing party never loses.

The Heritage Foundation surveyed 1,000 floating voters in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Nevada from April 2nd to April 4th with a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points. The questions focused on continued funding for Ukraine and securing its borders, and found that the majority were dissatisfied with Ukraine and wanted its borders secure.

When asked, “Is ensuring security more important?” [America’s southern] “Cross the border or give money to Ukraine?” Only 11% of voters supported Ukraine. In contrast, 50% said they want border security.

“As you consider U.S. border security and the situation in Ukraine, please read the following questions: Which of the following is the best approach?” A clear majority of 54% favor securing the U.S. border over aiding Ukraine. chose to spend a lot of money on.

Only 23% of respondents chose to spend the same amount on both Ukraine and the border. Even fewer, just 10%, said more money should be spent on protecting Ukraine’s borders than our own.

When asked whether the $113 billion the U.S. has already sent to Ukraine is “too much, too little, or the right amount,” 56% said it was “far from” (31%) or “somewhat” (25%). . ) “Too much.” But only 12% said $113 billion was either “much” (3%) or “somewhat” (9%) “too little.” Only 16% said $113 billion was “about the right amount.”

The next question asked whether those surveyed agreed or disagreed with the proposal to provide funding to Ukraine, but not to secure its southern border. A whopping 75% were either “somewhat” (25%) or “strongly” (50%) opposed to prioritizing Ukraine’s security over our own. that’s what you want). Conversely, only 17% said they “strongly” (5%) or “somewhat” (12%) support prioritizing Ukraine’s security over our own.

No one wants Russia to succeed in invading Ukraine, but the idea that we are securing Ukraine’s borders while ours is wide open to this invasion is crazy. The $113 billion we have already sent to Ukraine could pay for five of former President Trump’s big, beautiful border walls.

“American voters are reluctant to provide additional aid to Ukraine.” Said Scott Rasmussen, president of RMG Research, INC., which conducted the poll, said: “Our latest poll shows that Americans in key battleground states believe securing their country’s southern border should be a higher priority than funding Ukraine.”

It’s smart politics to tie Ukrainian money to our country’s borders, and to use Ukraine, which the Democrats and the fake media are obsessed with, to draw attention to our problems and to encourage politicians to come out and tell Americans It’s a way to make them admit that they care more about Ukraine than they do.
