A Marquette Law School poll released Wednesday showed Mr. Trump’s approval rating among registered voters in the Midwest, a key battleground state, at 51% and 49% for Mr. Biden.
The poll, conducted April 3-10, found that among a small group of voters, the former president holds a similar lead over his successor in the White House, 51% to 49%.
Including third-party and independent candidates, Trump won 41% of registered voters, Biden 40%, Democrat-turned-independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 13%, and the Green Party. Candidate Jill Stein got 3% and independent progressive Cornel West got 3%. At 2%.
